The banana phones

A bunch of people (don't know who) made a group purchase of banana phones in my #dream earlier. Mobile devices shaped like the actual yellow fruit. And then they made slow-motion movies shooting small arms fire at them on high FPS cameras.

Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring, banana phone?

Legend of the Condor Hero's Mobile Phone

What happens when reality merges with  random fiction from Legend of the Condor Heroes? I was basically a modernised Yang Guo in last night's #dream.

Joining a band of pugilists who turns out to be my colleagues, we ventured to explore a place called NTU. We were searching for the legendary hidden branch office of NEC in the compounds of the university.

After being welcomed and introduced to the welcome committee, the receptionist assigned to us a tour guide to show us the facilities. Our profane office was nowhere to be found. Even the guide had no knowledge of its existence. Disappointed but desperate, we called a former Project Manager on my mobile phone. She told us the rough whereabouts and we continued the search.

After a long while, we finally chanced upon it. Yang Kang (or whoever it was, I'm not sure, because he never met his father in the actual story) was waiting for us at the cafeteria with his goons. Having met him, we sat down at last. I'd placed my phone on the table as he violently rammed an iron nail through it.

My colleagues drew their swords and a fight broke out. We exchanged blows barehanded. Angered, I expelled the nail out of the device with my qi and continued the fight.

Xiao Long Nu appeared from out of nowhere to come stop us. She was dressed in white, but her face was a blur.

Oh, and happy teacher's day, Singapore.
