Are these dreams for real?
Yes, the events I blog about had indeed occur in my dreams. I describe everything I manage to recall after waking up the best I can.
As my mind may try to fill in little gaps in the scenarios while regaining consciousness, there may be slight deviations from what really happened, but the overall picture should be retained.
Do you have control over/in your dreams?
No, I don't. The sensation I get is as if I'm the camera, watching as the movie proceeds. Most of the time in a first-person perspective, other times as an onlooker.
How frequent are they?
My dreams are totally random. They are as temperamental and unpredictable as wild cats. They come as and when they feel like it. Also, I reckon my daytime activities have some correlation at least.
Why were there no posts in 2009?
I'm not sure about that myself. One possibility is that my mind was too preoccupied by reality at that stage. Stresses came from shifting house with my parents, preparations for my wedding (dinner/photo shoot/house hunting), and job hunting.
Have you ever had a deja vu in real life?
A number of years ago (around 2005 perhaps), I recall having a few such sensations. But I was never too sure if such events had anything to do with my dreams
What is your sleep pattern like?
Quite erratic. I probably sleep around 1am, give or take two hours. I'm in the GMT+8 timezone near the equatorial, so there's no DST here besides the half hour shifts of the sunsets between seasons. My day job requires me to wake like any other normal person, roughly 7-8am, weekends allow me the luxury of a few more hours in bed.
Research indicates the golden period for deep sleep is around 3am. I have no idea if this means anything to my dream period. I could be dreaming all night long but possibly only manage to salvage the ending bits to blog about.
