Ah this has just been the second dream this year I managed to recall.
I was having a meal with a guy I'm not familiar with at a Chinese restaurant in last night's #dream. He's a skinny Chinese and smaller sized than me, and when it was time to foot the bill, he was giving me a treat, together with the next table that was also his friends. It gets crazier. No idea who he was. James, maybe?
After I thanked him for the meal, we parted ways and I headed back to my car. I was walking to the parking structure and it started to get eerie. I kinda got lost, and found the path increasingly bushy, so I turned back. As I walked past one building, it appeared to be in the middle of construction but abandoned. Hurrying back to the building that I came out from, I took a lift up to my car, because even though I knowingly parked my vehicle in the basement and the lift to the basement carpark was faulty.
In the next scene, I was already behind the wheel. This can get even more confusing so try to keep up. The exit ramp from the carpark had an up-ramp and a down-ramp. Since the down-ramp was jammed, I took the up-ramp. As I drove upwards on the ramp, it got increasingly steep.
Soon, I realised that the support beam under the ramp had collapsed due to a heavy rain. But the vehicles ahead of me were still inching forward. We were defying the laws of physics. I was able to reach out my opened window to hang on to a railing alongside me because I felt that I needed to support the weight of the vehicle that was now nearly vertical on the slope. I was hanging on like Steve Rogers did with the helicopter on Civil War, no big deal.
Turns out Yc was in my backseat all along and he was asking me to drop him off somewhere. We cleared the exit ramp at last, and was back at ground level, on solid tarmac.
I woke up just as I was driving off into the sunset.
Roll credits.
