i was with a group of people who were taken hostage. by a bunch of militants or something along that line. we were being lead along a path to somewhere.
for some weird unknown reason, they had a jetpack on one of their guys. and the guy was kind enough to let me test it out, which was strange since i was a hostage. they were probably figuring i wasn't skilled enough to escape or even try to as there are still lots more of my group with them. i don't know who the other people were. i'm supposed to know them. oh and the jetpack was also somewhat buggy as that guy on it isn't quite familiar with how it should be used.
i put on the jetpack and he gave me some instructions. and before long i was flying! i flew around the group and it was rather exciting to be able to fly. the jetpack was rather inconvenient though. its handles were somewhat longer than my arms. and the controls for maneuvering it were at the ends of these handles. so i'd have to pull myself near the handles to get a good grip on moving around with the jetpack.
eventually i got the hang of it quite quickly, and decided to fly some distance away. i wanted to rescue my group. i flew to a building nearby and landed on the rooftop. they had people already in the building, just not on the rooftop. and they were trying to get at me without much success. i was creeping around and came across a small living room of sorts. there were people from my unit in there! i could ask them for help! but i apparently didn't do that. i caught their attention and they saw me. and i decided to get away. probably suspicious of them. i tried to fly away but with all the dumb luck i was getting, the fuel for the jetpack was out! ah yes... the irony of it all...
so i tried again. well i was able to fly a bit more. but it was rather unstable. i flew around trying to cause a stir with the escorts of my group. they were surprised the jetpack could have been so agile. and i started to fight them with hit and run tactics as i flew out of sight everytime i hit them... and i frigging woke up.
there goes the adventure! someone was knocking on the door. the postman had a parcel i suppose. he left before i got to the door. oh well guess i'll have to fly another day...
