i was on the search for a lost treasure with somebody else, a guy also. we went to the ends of the earth to find it. there was a long rectangular box, and there was something else with it. that somethinge else was probably a scroll but i can't recall exactly. when we saw the box we'd thought it was merely a container that contained the scroll AND a lot of chocolate.
i was assigned to hold on the box in the meantime, while the other fella (he wasn't the arrogant type, just anxious to get the job done) brought the scroll/other thing to a group of "experts". i accompanied him, and we drove up a carpark that i believe i'd dreamt of before.
the carpark was like its entrance and exit were both at ground level, but at different parts of the carpark. being semi open-air, there were parts that could see the sky directly above. we'd driven up to practically the top floor before we stopped (it wasn't too high, just regular 8-10 storeys) and parked the car there.
once in the building, the other guy brought the box as described, to the panel of "experts". meanwhile i saw a few things happening while i was in there. the building itself was like a cave, with solid rock as walls all around. it was round, with each floor being able to look straight down to the ground floor. it looked more like a cave, but everything looked more man-made than natural.
a group of surgeons were operating on a guy's head. to do this, they had a conventional oven which had words inscribed on the inside. they then pushed the head of the guy to be operated on into the oven, just like in a CAT scan. i didn't stay around long enough to see what happened next but i figure they knew what they were doing.
there was another group there, trying to enter/break into a solid rock door which seemed to be some sort of a vault. they then somehow managed to open the door, but something happened. a creature flew out from the vault and started harassing them. it looks like a griffin with wings and four legs. it felt like we the humans were more of the good guys, but we were tampering with things we shouldn't be in that building.
meanwhile, the other guy was still investigating the scroll/other thing with the bunch of experts. and there i was with that box of what appeared to be just a container. only it was more than just a container for the scroll.
while i was left alone somewhere, i started opening a small compartment of the box. it was like a small drawer of a jewel box. i pulled it out and there i saw a lot of chocolate! they were mostly cubed shaped but looked really nice and delicious! i closed it immediately, and started observing the rest of the box. there were 2 other drawers. one slightly longer beside that first drawer of chocolates, and another that took the whole length below these 2 drawers. i read some inscriptions on the drawer beside the one with chocolates. to my horror, i read something that seemed to describe that a person like me would come along one day, and open up this drawer. once this drawer was opened, an unstoppable wave of destruction was going to start in the world. the obvious words there were "end of the world" (or something to that effect), and worried me greatly. not wanting to open that drawer yet, i started to open the longest one below it.
i was about to slide it open by pulling on the handle, but before i could continue, i had a stomachache. this was... peculiar because i didn't feel any pain, but i wanted to go to the toilet. i reach the toilet cubicle and sat inside, with the box still in my hands. no, i didn't have a stomachache. i was worried. that i might really bring total destruction to the world if i really opened the drawer. and if i were to delay opening the drawer of that box, might i delay the coming of the end of the world? what i didn't think about was to consult with other people at that point of time.
unfortunately, my story ends here. so we won't be able to find out if i would bring the end of the worldby simply opening the drawer. but considering what the rest of the "experts" were researching on in that building, i think it would have been rather possible. in my dreams.
