Hey i'm back. It's been a while since I last had any dream (that i can recall upon waking up) so this had been like a drought. You can say life caught up with me, and probably the woes of work and worries of my life at large contributed to it. Nowadays, sleep has been all-out concussion when I hit the sack and the dreams kind of stopped. So you can imagine my impulsion when, the moment I woke up that I'd remember the dream I'd just had.
It was a brief one, but military-based no less. I was one of 2 soldiers in a war. We'd somehow escaped a massacre the enemy had brought onto our small group in the field, in a way because we got separated from them. We laid low, observed and planned on taking out these targets. It was peculiar though, the way we did it.
We'd placed 4-6 rifle rounds on the ground, close to one of our dead guys when the enemy wasn't looking. The rounds were placed vertically and in good order of 2 rows of 2-3 rounds each. Curiously, this placement caught the attention of 2 of them. Don't ask me how many others were there because I have no idea in my dream. So the 2 dumbos approached the neatly arranged ammunition (bullets, if you will) and one of them decided to look sideways between the ranks of the rounds. The other guy I was with, was positioned in a camouflaged manner, such that they didn't even see him at about 2 metres away! He'd positioned himself aiming between the arranged rifle rounds. So once the first enemy looked between the rounds, my comrade pulled the trigger, killing the enemy instantly. The other enemy was caught by surprise, but before he could respond, I came right up behind him and gave him a shot in the head.
The two were taken out execution style, for the sake of the war, and to revenge our dead guys.
Who were we at war with? No idea. It's just a dream. I'm not a war veteran but these scenes come up occasionally in the past too. Military scenes with war going on. Wonder what all that means... and I suppose too, that if it weren't for my father waking me up at noon, the dream might have continued...
