Of Mario and Trains

This one is the funniest so far I think. I believe I recently did dream about certain stuff but I haven't been able to recall them. Mostly random things but things that I can't recall about. I just woke up and I believe I just had REM and sensations of wanting to wake up because I needed to relieve myself.

In any case, the dream had two parts to it. The first, was about me being in a Mario-type game. Literally IN the game! Being one of the players, I had to go through (now rather vague) a certain level with plenty of water, but most of the game level looked blocky, in that I would have to go turn by turn to step on one cell each to get to my goal. There was also a dragon (a la Shrek kind of dragon) in a cave behind a waterfall curtain at the right most end of the level. Yes, most side scrollers goes from left to right. Then I managed to propel myself to this unique area in the map where it was some sort of an Escher picture where the water flows downwards and back up in and endless loop! As I got stuck in the infinite pattern, my dream transitions into the next segment.

Cut scene to me being in a train, or rather being the train. I was initially being ye old locomotive with a steam engine. While traveling on tracks, I traveled faster and while increasing speed, the train (aka me) somehow "evolved" into this electric train, and become like a bullet train! Wow the speed was cool. It's some sort of the feeling like I'm falling (in other more typical dream scenarios) but instead it's the horizontal kind. The speed increases gradually and the train (which is still me) travels along the tracks bypassing train stations by taking the express routes. Although there were some trackworks going on with a couple of warning signs placed on the tracks I continued on regardless. It felt pretty amazing to be traveling that fast. But then I was awoken by a phone call from my sister-in-law. Haha!

And while recalling this dream, I was reminded of a previous dream I had, which I might not have blogged about. Quite simply, I was at a train station (yet again). Or MRT of some sort. Everyone was taking different cars (that's what train cabins are supposed to be called) to different places from this station. The station was pretty large. From overhead boarding platforms, to ground level ones, and even underground ones. There were even cable cars of sorts! Everyone had somewhere to go, and I was one of them. I only remember the place, but not much else on what happened there. Probably not much, but it was crowded.
