I was a sniper (yet again) with a team of special forces. We were in the middle of a number of missions to locate a dangerous individual. The venue changed 2 or 3 times, each with us having failed to apprehend the UNSUB, mostly in built-up areas. The buildings were abandoned and it involved a number of rooftops.
In the final scene, we had just pulled out from another unsuccessful attempt. I managed to scope out and identify our own people in the distance, probably about 2km away. But just then, the team members in the distance were being taken out one by one. Desperate to identify the source of their demise, I started searching around with my scope. After a brief and desperate search, I managed to pinpoint our elusive target. Just as I pulled the trigger and fired that one precious shot...
